1. Rental Terms and Conditions

Rights and Obligations of the Parties

The Salon agrees to allow the Customer to try on the Rental Item (dress/suit/accessories), to hand over the Rental Item to the Customer and to allow the Customer to use the Rental Item, all within the dates agreed in this Agreement. The Customer agrees to use the Rental Item properly and to pay the Salon the Rental Fee specified in this Agreement.

On the date of signing this Agreement, the Customer shall pay a Reservation Fee equal to one half of the total Rental Fee specified in this Agreement. The Reservation Fee covers the costs associated with the selection and reservation of the Rental Item. In the event that the Customer unilaterally cancels the reservation, the Reservation Fee is non-refundable. The Reservation Fee cannot be transferred towards the purchase of goods.

On the date the Customer collects the Rental Item, the Customer shall pay the remaining balance of the Rental Fee (the “Balance”) and a refundable security deposit in case of excessive soiling or damage to the Rental Item.

The amount of the refundable security deposit is CZK 2,000 for wedding dresses and CZK 1,000 for evening dresses, suits and accessories.

In the event of excessive soiling or damage, the security deposit will be used to cover the costs associated with cleaning or repairing the Rental Item. The costs will be determined by the Salon based on a labour rate of CZK 400 per hour and the cost of cleaning products and/or materials.

If the cost of cleaning or repair exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the Customer is required to pay the remaining amount based on a document issued by the Salon.

If the Rental Item cannot be restored to its original condition, the Customer agrees to pay the Salon a contractual penalty equal to the retail sale value of the Rental Item specified in Part I of this Agreement, less the amount already paid as the Rental Fee. The Salon will then hand over the Rental Item to the Customer.

If the Rental Item is returned in good condition, the refundable security deposit will be returned to the Customer in full immediately upon return of the Rental Item.

Cancellation Policy

If the Customer cancels this Agreement within 14 days prior to the beginning of the rental period, the Customer is required to pay the Salon a contractual penalty equal to 90% of the Balance, no later than 5 business days from the date of cancellation of the reservation.

If the reserved model is destroyed or stolen by a previous customer, the Salon will inform the Customer of this fact without undue delay.

In such a case, the Customer has the right to exchange the Rental Item for another item from the Salon’s selection.

If the Customer does not wish to make use of this option, the Salon will refund the Reservation Fee paid by the Customer in full.

Alterations to the Rental Item

Any alterations to the dress agreed at the time of reservation will be recorded in this Agreement. The Customer shall pay for any additional alterations beyond the scope of this agreement.

The hem length of the rented dress must be at least 4 cm above the ground.

Any alterations to the Rental Item may only be carried out by the Salon.

The Customer must use the Rental Item solely in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and, in particular, must not alter, clean, wash, iron or repair the Rental Item themselves.

Exchange of the Rental Item

The Customer is entitled to exchange the Rental Item.

If the Rental Fee for the new dress is higher, the Customer shall pay the difference when paying the Balance.

If the Rental Fee for the new dress is lower, the original Rental Fee remains unchanged.

The Salon is not responsible for any changes in the Customer’s body measurements or proportions occurring between the date of signing the Rental Agreement and the beginning of the rental period.

Change of Rental Period

The Customer may change the rental period once, to a new date no later than 12 months from the date of signing the Rental Agreement, provided that the Rental Item is available on the requested new date.

Fittings

The initial selection of the dress, the tailoring fitting and the fitting immediately before the beginning of the rental period are included in the Rental Fee.

Each additional fitting requested by the Customer is charged at CZK 300 per hour.

Cleaning and Soiling

The Rental Fee includes cleaning of the dress to remove normal soiling.

Normal soiling means soiling caused by perspiration and dust or dirt on the lower hem of the dress.

Excessive soiling means soiling that requires repeated cleaning and the use of special cleaning products, including stains caused by wine, wax, asphalt, tar, grease, oil, pollen, grass, soil, resin, food, blood, gastric juices, sparkling wine and other substances.

Damage to the Rental Item

The Customer agrees to return the Rental Item to the Salon in good condition and without defects, taking normal wear and tear into account.

Damage to the Rental Item is not included in the Rental Fee.

In the event of damage to the Rental Item, such as tearing, burns, snagging of the fabric or similar damage, the repair will be arranged by the Salon.

Hanger and Protective Cover

The Rental Item must be returned together with the hanger and the undamaged protective cover.

A fee of CZK 50 will be charged for loss of or replacement of the hanger.

A fee of CZK 500 will be charged for loss of or damage to the protective cover.

Late Return

Unless otherwise agreed, the Customer must return the Rental Item to the Salon by the date specified in the Rental Agreement in the section concerning the rental period.

A contractual penalty of CZK 2,000 will be charged for each day of delay in returning the Rental Item.
